Before leaving California she was accepted to Orange County School of Performing Arts. During her youth she competed at the National level, in competitions across the US. In middle and high school she discovered a love for acting and singing and was able to pursue these talents in productions including, Guys and Dolls as chorus, and Tinkerbell in Peter Pan. After high-school, Macy participated in IPAC training and was invited to their competition and audition in Los Angeles where she placed as overall top dancer.
Macy began teaching dance and choreographing in the North Texas area in 2010. First teaching tumbling in a gymnastic studio, and then teaching dance, in local studios. She has been teaching in the area for 9 years as well as preparing choreography for teams who have won many awards over this time.
She has many passions, more than dance. Macy enjoys giving back to the community, as well as supporting her dancers outside of the studio. Macy believes it takes a village to raise a child and she loves being apart of the families villages.
Macy is now the owner of a new, up and coming dance studio, Fly High Dance and Performing Arts. She enjoys sharing her love of dance with her students, and will always provide the best support to her dancers. She will use Fly High to provide a safe place for all dancers as well as give back and do miss work.
